ZAUBAR supports numerous content types, among which is volumetric content. What are they, and how can museums and memorial sites utilize them?
Unlike traditional 2D video that records scenes from a fixed perspective, volumetric recordings (or volumetric videos) enable viewers to move around and interact with the captured content from various angles, providing an unmatched immersion level.
It is becoming increasingly important for businesses to keep up with the Zeitgeist as the entertainment industry is setting the bar higher each day.
ZAUBAR has recently worked with Berlin-Hohenschönhausen Memorial to bring the stories of time witnesses to life in a permanent exhibition. Volumetric videos, recorded in VOLUCAP studios, were placed in different cells of the former Stasi prison.
Visitors can get close to, stand by, or observe time witnesses from a distance. In the interview below, you will hear from Sven Bliedung (CEO, VOLUCAP) and Stefan Marx (CEO, ZAUBAR) about the recent collaboration.
